Who Are We ?

The LP Green Organic farm produces vegetables without harming the precious environment and without chemical or artificial fertilizers.

The farm also gives an opportunity to train young local farmers in organic farm techniques and be a center for visiting students to learn our traditional and environmentally friendly practices.

LP Green Organic farm is located 40 Km from Luang Prabang, Laos, a world heritage site. It is located in a perfect location, beside NumPa River, with fertile soil to grow beautiful organic vegetables, fruits and herbs.

That's a place to be. Just 45 minutes away from Luang Prabang. The drive there is already something! And the farm itself is simply beautiful. Ken Ngen and his wife are very good hosts. Ken shows you through his organic farm and while you are walking he explains you a lot about his organic farm and his neighborhood and the village life!, The food is local and delicious. All veggies are from his organic farm!, While you are resting in the open bamboo hut, close you eyes and listen to the birds, the river and the wind and be part of the nature!

The tour included a tour of the farm, an opportunity to work on the farm and help plant and pick crops. Also a fantastic fresh and delicious Lunch prepared by Kens family from products that were harvested directly from the farm. The food was delicious and we had very nice conversation talking about the farm and what vegetables they were planting this season. Ken was gracious as he explained his theory of his organic farming techniques as compared to the generational methods passed down from generations. It was really a fantastic day in some of the most beautiful country I’ve ever seen.
